This saw is in a damaged state, but at one time it would have been a beauty, and I liked the handle with its handsome Hargreaves medallion (a new one for me) and smaller screws being miniature Warranted Superior coat-of-arms. The blade stamp is very light, only partially legible, and doesn't photograph well. I've deciphered it to read "W Hargreaves & Co" in an arc over "Spring Temper", over a curved "Sheffield", all flanked by "Warranted" and "Cast Steel", and with three crowns.
