Wilh. Denninghoff Dovetail Saw

    I just picked up a Wilh. Denninghoff dovetail saw and could find no info on it. Can anyone help point me in the right direction in terms of who the maker was and when and where it was made? The larger hole seems to have been done as a fix and the smaller hole had no hardware in it.

    Wilhelm Denninghoff
    He was born 5 February 1832 in the Halver, Westphalia in Germany. 1854 immigrated to Sweden in 1854 where he founded the firm in 1873 Wilh. Denninghoff at the East Port 16 in Gothenburg. The company moved its headquarters to 1882 East Harbor Road 40. There, he developed the company into a leading position in järnmanufakturbranschen. After his death in 1905 his wife took over the import wholesale business. In 1917, reorganized wholesale company to company, Wilh. Denninghoff AB. In 1928 opened a branch office in the Dannemora Street 18 in Stockholm. 1931 was recovered in the business premises at Spannmålsgatan 20-22. WD represented as the general agent of several German, British and American factories.
