Anyone seen one of these before? I picked it from a barn in Massachusetts. Any info would be great!

Only the second example I've seen of this maker – Sheffield, 1837-1846. A second quality item (German steel, London pattern handle) and showing its barn existence in a major way! But there is probably a good deal that could be done to bring it back to something like present-ability. Could you post a picture of any more marks on the iron back?
Thanks for a real rarity. Simon

Nice find.. I think that will clean up nicely, the underlying saw, beneath the rust and dirt seems to be in reasonable condition.
I'd clean off as much as possible with some turps and a soft nylon brush, maybe a coat of wax on the handle.. and see what it looks like.

By the way, they're under Pigot's Directory of 1834 under saw manufacturers.
