    Moving from elephants to kangaroos, here is my 14" Robert Sorby backsaw. I thought it would be good to post pictures for documentation.

    Thanks for posting Bob,

    It's always nice to see other people's saws.
    Is this a user saw too ? (as is the "elephant" saw), and did you do the handle repairs to the handle horns ? (something I seem to have difficulty with)

    Yes, another using saw. These old saws work as well as ever once cleaned up. I did make repairs to both horns. It seems rare for me to acquire a saw that doesn't need handle repairs, and as with this saw, I seem to also be a rust magnet. Most of the saws I get unfortunately have pitting. Doesn't affect how well they cut though.
