    Hi all,
I bought this 14" steel backed Parry and son saw earlier this week, it needed a bit of work to make into a good user. I had to fit new threads to the screws with silver solder, then carry out the usual rust removal, cleaning, sharpening and setting, it now cuts very well
I'm a bit surprised at the low angle of the handle, it looks like it would be awkward to use comfortably but having given it a bit of use today it seems just as easy to use as my other 'normal' saws.
Does anyone know if there was there a reason to cant the handle lower on some saws?
