Pair of Backsaws

    This is a pair of brass backed saws I've just finished up on commission. The smaller saw is a 12" carcass saw filed crosscut at 13 ppi. The larger one is a 16" tenon saw filed rip at 11 ppi. The brass backs are the traditional folded type. The saw handles are cocobolo. The etching on plates, backs, and medallions was done by laser.

    Hi Bob, those are just gorgeous, every inch of them is just quality, I especially love the forward facing hook & the grain in those handles- antiques of the future for sure, thanks for sharing...:)
