A Moseley & Sons Brass backed saw of 10 inches
Stamp in back is asymmetric and end is uneven;I think it has been cut down from a 12 inch saw.
Nice beech handle with split nuts
    Cheers

I'd guess the mark would have been around the middle, so that might allow a calculation of how much has been cut off... Nice saw otherwise.

BSSM has Mosely and Son from 1852 to 1868. It looks like it was Moseley and Simpson after that until 1881.

Both are at 17 and 18 King Street and 27 Bedford Street, Covent Garden.
