Keyhole saw

    Hi,
    An interesting little saw. The way that they have "skew backed" it may mean that it was adapted for a particular job. It is so easy to bend these things in use when you have a foot of very slim blade to play with and you don't have the patience of Job. (Experience). Perhaps a shorter blade would do the job just as well and be a lot more rigid.

    I have had a number of keyhole saws in job lots of tools that I have bought and very few have a maker's name on them. Judging by the split nuts, you are probably looking at late 19th/early 20th centuries. But that is a complete WAG.
