    Another recent find is this 26" saw marked Jameson & Co. There only seems to be one Jameson listed in BS&SM and that is Caleb Jameson who was a London saw maker, so I guess this is his work.
    I'm not sure if it was once a 28" saw as the nib is right at the end of the plate.
    Also it's nice to find a saw of this age that doesn't need a couple of hours work removing rust from the plate.

    It certainly has been cleaned for ya. Why people can't get the screws back on the correct way is always a mystery.
    Sharpen and use .
