J Tyzack and Son

    I was wondering if anyone could help date this truely abused J Tyzack and Son Sheffield split nut saw. I believe it has been shortened as their is damage to the brass and the stamping seems to off centred. Thanks

    Yikes! I might suggest a dating from about 1920-30s. Handle rounded yet missing a lot of the extras from an a previous age. Was it a wall hanger with the one hole? Certainly a challenge if you intend to restore. More time than I would put into.
