    Hi All,

Simon emailed this picture, which is from an amazing collection just recently found in a Sheffield library and has been kindly donated to the Hawley Collection.

The recently found collection includes books of printed matter including labels and etching transfers.

This one would have been attached to a box of saws

The crisp artwork, and bright unfaded colours are just magnificent

It goes without saying that this is a significant find of rare, and quite likely unique historical records.

Simon mentions in his email, of "reeling from the effect of looking at scores of labels and etching transfers"

I'm reeling from just looking at the one above!

    Regards
    Ray
