Looking for 1/2" split nut for an early 1800's Russell & Horsfield backsaw.

    Nut measures about .5 inches or 1/2" across. About .125 or 1/8" thick & it is tapered.
    Anyone steer me towards a source for one of these?

    Thanks Fred & Simon. I have been told not to clean it up so definitely wanted to find an original nut.
