Guy's I'm working on a spears and Jackson saw and just wondering what the best way to date them is? From the handle design I'm guessing 1850-1880? if anyone had a better guess or has info to work from I'd be interested. I have a few and wasn't sure if there are tell tell signs years. thanks Joe
Hi Joe, I've sometimes thought that S&J handle design would be a good one for dating, since they seem to change styles a little more than some other firms.
