Dear all, These saws were found in Melbourne Australia. As you can see they have 4 x medallions each, they also have (one of them doesn't anymore) a double nib with a hump in the middle, also the handle has a "houndstooth" detail that the standard R.Sorby saws that I have seen don't have. Stamped Robt Sorby, a kangaroo & three crowns on the blades. I've read mention on the forum that perhaps these flashy type of saws were for the New World export market perhaps? Or for trade exhibitions? I would love to hear members thoughts about age & occurrence, I've never found one in 30+ years, then 2 in a couple of months. Both 26 inch, although one has lost it's nose a little. Thanks in advance... Mari
