This is a monster saw. I made it in trade for a motor for my Nichols mill, which I use to slot backs and split nuts mostly. I traded a gent for a saw I made, and I decided to try something that I knew hadn't been done before.

This is like my Small Joiner's Saws on steroids. It's got a .032" plate that is 18" long and 3" deep. Pretty much the same proportions as my Small Joiner's Saws. This one is xcut, if I recall correctly. Would be a great saw in a miter box, although deeper would be more useful.

This also has brass hardware on it, both back and split nuts. Bronze is expensive so I couldn't afford to trade that, at least I didn't want to.

It cut well and surprisingly enough the handle felt pretty good despite the fact it was big like the saw. It would make a great miter saw, IMO.
