Yesterday i got this saw in the mail. It was in a package with a R. Sorby, a Warranted supperior and two small children saws for 18 €. I think i have read somewhere that this form of saw is a floor saw. There is now stamp or etch on the saw . Can anybody identify this saw ?????????????????
Pastahill, that looks like a Disston D-19 flooring saw. See this link about 2/3 way down the page. It could be a different brand, but it is very similar.
Thank you Bob, never thought this is a Disston. Looks absolut like mine. The lever which is in the drawing is the same, i think the lever on the photo is the wrong one. Also the spikes on the heel of the blade is exact like mine. Now i try carefully to find the etch on the blade. If i have luck, i will post photos.
