    Hello all,

This saw is not a wonderful offering and has seen better days. I would have loved to have seen it with its full depth of blade. It is currently 16 inches long from the heel to the toe and it cants out quite markedly from the nose of back to the toe of the blade.

BSSM has the makers from 1833 to 1837 and puts a mark similar to this one at the latter end of the company's existence.

I bought it mainly because it has a large blank screw/blind medallion. What I did not notice and what is a bit of a bonus is the fact that it has a hyphen between "Victoria" and "Works". Its placing is, to me a nice touch, but inexplicable.

Now I know from past posts that some of you cannot understand my obsession with dots and hyphens, and I can only put it down to the stamp collector in me who looks for and values the slightest variation from the norm. (BSSM does not have the hyphen).

    Fred
