    Hi,
Can't find much info on this saw. It is 14 inches, made in Shelfield of cast steel. It has 3 split nuts and a good handle. Any idea of it's age?

Since the lamb's tongue is only outlined and not fully carved as was done on older saws, I'd guess it was made at the end of the split nut era, say early 1900s. "Stevens" was a secondary line trade-name used by Beardshaw. Looks like its in good condition, and should be fun to have as a hundred-year-old User.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, it's in good condition for 120 year old saw. I will take it for a test run soon (it's too hot here at the moment to be outside).
