I recently bought this from Ebay, the blade surprisingly is straight, it read J.Tyzack how old is this saw? I have three Tyzack a 8, 10, and 14" but not this logo.

By the way, I'm from the Philippines. Handsaw, tenon saw, dovetail saw are very hard to find where I came from, in fact almost all handtools (except the overpriced China made and poorest quality junk I ever lay my eyes on)woodworker here often bought from Amazon or eBay just to get a decent saw. 4.JPG 5.JPG

    Hi Raff,

At guess, the Tyzack would have bee made after the turn of the 20th century. Possibly up to 1925 - ish. I think that Tyzack saws were quite good ones. The Marples is a lovely little saw in very good condition. And I suspect a quality product as well.

Thanks, Fred! I'm busy restoring them along with other handtools.
