George Bishop 8" Dovetail saw

    :eek: I feel so stupid, forgot that was in this thread...yeah, that was just a joke Simon, it's all fubar, up, down, and sideways.
    That thing is really fugly...I didn't even notice what type of saw it was, I was trying to figure out if the handle was upside down or what...but it didn't seem so...it's a beaten step child...

    I apologize for being a bit slow...:D

    EDIT: Simon, that handle is from a full size handsaw, or a panel saw. At least that is what it looks like to me.

    Hi Ray & Alan. That low set handle couldnt have been too ugly for some people to take it seriously. Sold for GBP 5.50 [ 2 bids ]. Would love to be the fly on the wall as the winning bidder gives the saw a few test cuts.

    My guess is that it probably will cut just fine as long as it has sharp teeth. It really depends on what and how one is sawing with it.

    It's pretty damn fugly, IMO...:p
